Maxwelton Race Club holds an annual race day, at Maxwelton Race track, 50 km’s west of Richmond, in the stunning open downs countryside. The event features horse races, fashions of the fields, live entertainment, novelty events and even a recovery breakfast for the Stayers who camp overnight. This iconic event is a fixture in the NW QLD social calendar and is well supported by people from across the region.
